BRH Yield Club

The Blue River Hybrid Yield Club is a yield based awards program to recognize farmers who produce high corn yields on their farms fields using Blue River Hybrids seed. To win, farmers must achieve a yield that is the highest yield in his region and classification.

Rules

  1. Corn must be weighed by a weigh wagon or on a certified scale with weight tickets.
  2. Method of calculation must conform to the BRH formula in calculating yields. See below.
    (100 - %Harvest Moisture) X (lbs. grain harvested) X (109.815) /(row length, ft)/(row width, in) /(No. rows harvested) = bushels of No. 2 corn/A
  3. A BRH representative (dealer or RSM) should be present during the yield check.
  4. The area in the yield check must be at least one acre.
  5. All entries must be in by December 15 of current year.

Winners of their respective region and class will receive the following:
Plaque recognizing achievement
BRH Jacket or equivalent in seed
Recognition in local and regional publications
